Our mission is simple: empower businesses to build real, lasting international relationships that lead to growth, investment, and global success.
Why Export?
Exporting isn’t just good business – it’s a smart, strategic move for Canadian companies looking to grow, innovate, and compete globally. In today’s economic and political climate, it’s also a patriotic investment in Canada’s prosperity.
Here’s how exporting strengthens your business:
Drives Growth and Efficiency
Exporting fuels company growth, opening the door to new revenue streams and economies of scale. According to Industry Canada, top Canadian exporters grew by 20% over two years, compared to just 8% for non-exporting companies.
Builds a More Resilient, Robust Business
Diversifying into international markets helps companies weather domestic downturns and stabilize revenue over time. A broader customer base means fewer risks tied to local economic cycles.
Expands Beyond Canada’s Domestic Market
Canada’s domestic market is relatively limited in size. Exporting enables businesses to tap into vastly larger markets—especially across Europe, Latin America, and the United States—bringing Canadian excellence to the world stage.
Encourages Innovation and Operational Excellence
Serving new and varied international customers pushes companies to improve product quality, adapt processes, and increase operational efficiency. Exporters often become more agile, responsive, and forward-thinking as a result.
Fosters Global Competitiveness
Competing in international markets challenges small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) to stay sharp and inventive. Exposure to global competitors drives continuous improvement, helping Canadian SMEs become world-class leaders in their industries.
